A case of malignant lymphoma with breast and ovary involvement as a cause of fever of unknown origin detected by Ga-67 scintigraphy.

2002
Ga-67 scintigraphy was performed in a 45-year-old woman as part of a work-up for fever of unknown origin (FUO). Abnormal uptake was noted in the breasts and suprapubic region and led to a diagnosis of malignant lymphoma (ML) of the breasts and right ovary. Involvement of both the breasts and ovary by ML is rare, and Ga-67 scintigraphy was useful in evaluating this patient with FUO.
