Luminescence and electronic Raman scattering from overdoped Tl2Ba2CuO6 based superconductors

Abstract Photoluminescence and electronic resonance Raman scattering studies on overdoped Tl 2 Ba 2 CuO 6 with T c ∼ 85 and 30 K are reported. Luminescence is shown to be the primary contributor to secondary emission in these materials. A “2Δ-like” feature at ∼6 κT c for 85 K SC, and at ∼ 3.5 κT c for 30 K SC, is observed below T c .
