The present invention relates to a dosing station, which allows to meter liquids with increased viscosity, in particular liquids, with a viscosity that is more than one hundred times the viscosity of water. The dosing station is operated partially or completely automatically and is modular. This allows combinatorial produce a variety of different substance formulations at high throughput. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method which allows flexible as possible and the highest possible throughput, a plurality of (optionally different) components that have an increased viscosity to meter into a sample receiving vessel. The method uses a dosing algorithm, which is tailored to the high-throughput metering of liquids increased viscosity.
