Application of EPON Technology in Video Surveillance System

EPON technology is developed based on passive optical network and Ethernet technology progress and combining.It combines the advantages of passive optical network(PON) and Ethernet,and improved,forming a high technical content;improve the technical level,the performance-to-price ratio higher characteristic.This feature makes the EPON technology is widely used in video monitoring system.this paper is based on some practical application examples,to discuss the application of EPON technology.
