The present invention relates to the field of prevention and treatment of diseases involving NMDA receptors in the central nervous system. It relates more specifically to compounds of indol-1-yl-type (1 H) -quinolin-2-one and indole-3-yl- (1 H) -quinolin-2-one, in particular as a medicament, and the use of such compounds in the preparation of pharmaceutical compositions.
