Methyl Saliclyate Sorbitol Methods Analysis of the Altoids® plastic wrap was carried out using a Nicolet 6700 Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectrometer (FT-IR). The resulting spectrum was compared to the spectra of various plastic standards, along with spectra in the instrument’s library.
