Quantization effects in the identification of the power converters frequency response

Identification of frequency response based on digital controllers can be affected by different noise sources. One of them is the quantization noise produced by the ADC, that can increase the needed perturbation level to achieve a good performance. This can result in excessive disturbance in the electrical quantities of the converter during the identifications process. In this paper, the influence of the quantization noise is studied in a controlled simulation environment.
