In the new century and new stage,we are facing new situation and new topics on construction and development of political party system with Chinese characteristics.By reviewing the history of solidarity and cooperation between the CPC and the democratic parties and non-party personages,studying the functions and value of the multi-party cooperation and political consultation system under the leadership of CPC,and discussing the hot,key and difficult issues in multi-party cooperation theory and its practice,we can strengthen the theoretical study on political party system with Chinese characteristics and constantly advance the development of multi-party cooperation.
