Colonic neoplasia and paraproteinemia: Report of a case

An unusual case of combined lymphosarcoma and carcinoma of the cecum in a patient who also had paraproteinemia has been described. Studies of immune competence showed no clear evidence of defective immune response, although humoral antibody response might have been slightly depressed. The paraproteinemia persisted after apparently adequate removal of the tumors.
