SUMMARY Purpose: The purpose of this study was demonstrate the pulmonary compromise in patient in HIV infected children comparative finding with of the literature. Material y methods: We reviewed the pertinent clinical records of 149 children diagnosed with Adquired Inmunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) between 2000 and 2003. We have evaluated the radiology and CT manifestation of the various HIVrelated diseases. Results: Radiology enabled us to evaluate the presence of a pulmonary diseases and certain findings on chest CT scans allow confident diagnosis of specific complications in patients with AIDS.
