The preparing method comprises the steps that graphene oxide is scattered into a buffer solution, and a mixed solution of graphene oxide is obtained; and cyclic voltammetry scanning is carried out on the mixed solution of graphene oxide through a three-electrode system till hydrogen evolution occurs, a hollow graphene modified electrode with the adjustable size is obtained by regulating and controlling the scanning potential range or the solution pH value, and the hollow graphene is obtained on the work electrode. The preparing method is easy to operate and environment-friendly, and the size of hollow graphene can be adjusted.
