Complexes of LnL{sub 3}(NO{sub 3}){sub 3}{center_dot}nH{sub 2}O (Ln=Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu; n=0-3) are prepared by interaction of Ln(NO{sub 3}){sub 3} with 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine (L) in acetone solutions at pH 2. Structure of complexes prepared are studied by x-ray diffraction analysis, IR and electron spectroscopy. Crystal structure of SmL{sub 3}(NO{sub 3}){sub 3}{center_dot}H{sub 2}O are determined: compound is crystallized in orthorhombic syngony, space group is R3, a=b=13.976, c=20.951 A. 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine ligand is contained in complex as bipolar ion monodentately coordinated through oxygen atoms of deprotonated hydroxy-group. Three nitrate groups is coordinated in inner sphere of complex bidentately. Coordination number of the central atom is 9. Water molecules not takes part in coordination. IR and UV spectroscopic characteristics of prepared complexes are discussedR.
