FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Method of measuring blood pressure is carried out using a tonometer. Wherein target body area is irradiated by means of a radiation source. Reflected radiation is received by the radiation receiver. Received radiation is processed by the method of contrast analysis of speckle structures. Algorithm is used for processing speckles using a Gaussian window for averaging over a three-dimensional block with two spatial dimensions and one time dimension by means of a processing unit, thereby obtaining a spatial and time distribution of speckles. Determine the velocity of blood flow, the diameter of the artery from the spatial and time distribution of speckles with the help of a processing unit. Determine the blood pressure at a certain blood flow velocity, the diameter of the artery and the previously obtained calibration pressure values. EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of the blood pressure measurement without cuffs is achieved by irradiating the body area in real time without use of an inflatable cuff, using a compact hand-worn device. 13 cl, 7 dwg
