Design of MR Damping Platform of XK7132 Vertical CNC Milling Machine

Through the hammer experiment of the milling machine XK7132, the modal parameters are obtained. The milling force coefficients are obtained by the regression analysis of the milling force and the feed per tooth. Based on the modal parameters and the milling force coefficients, the stability prediction of the milling process is implemented by using the classical zero order frequency domain method. According to the size and the clamping way of the XK7132 vertical milling machine, the vibration attenuation platform is designed through the structural design, material selection, magnetic circuit analysis which meets the saturation magnetic induction intensity of MPF-J25T magnetorheological fluid. The distribution of magnetic induction intensity and the distribution of magnetic lines in each part of the damping table are obtained by the analysis of electromagnetic field. The dynamic model of milling system based on magnetorheological damper modified Dahl model is established. The effect of vibration reduction is verified by the simulation of the stability diagram.
