2017
Introduction and objective: In Colombia the prevalence of multi-drug resistant TB has increased slowly but steadily since 2001. Each year there are about a hundred cases and 250 multidrug resistant to any drugs: Most of these are diagnosed in the Antioquia and Valle del Cauca departments. The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of resistance to second-line drugs Kanamycin, Amikacin, Capreomycin, Ofloxacin, and describe the genotypes of M. tuberculosis in strain multirresistant circulating in a cohort of patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis in Colombia during the years 2012-2013.
