PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an active material which is superior in the doping efficiency and of which the irreversible capacity is sufficiently reduced.SOLUTION: The method for producing an active material doped with lithium includes a doping process of doping the active material with lithium by bring the active material into electrical contact with lithium in a mixture containing at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, diethyl carbonate and dimethyl carbonate, lithium salt, metallic lithium and the active material.
