Physiological Characteristics of Different Varieties of Lolium perenne in Vegetation Concrete to Drough and Heat Stress

The physiological characteristics of 3 Lolium perenne Linn.varieties(Barverdi,Medalist and Accen)in the vegetation concrete to drough and heat stress were investigated.The tested materials in the vegetation concrete were put into drying cylinders with 38℃and 50℃ respectively.The physiological indexes of their leaves,such as conductivity,relative activity of super oxiddismutase(SOD) and catalase(CAT),the contents of free proline and chloropyll were assayed immediately after treatment.The results showed that after heat and drought stress,the contents of free proline,conductivity,chlorophyll contents,relative activity of SOD and CAT were imcreased quickly in three breed leaves.As a whole,Accent and Medalist were more adapted to heat and drought vegetation concrete than Barverdi in the research.
