Monitoraggio del contenuto di Cromo, Nichel e Cobalto in detergenti ad uso domestico mediante ICP-AES

In order to individuate possible relationships between the productive cycle and the presence of heavy metals in household detergents, for a period of 5 months the content of three metals in two powder detergents for washing machines and in a powder detergent for hand washing is monitored. The three detergents were chosen on the base of a previous study considering that, in liquid detergents, the content of cobalt was under the detection limit of tlie method. From the obtained results it was possible to note that, in the considered period, a certain variation of chromium and nickel was detectable and that the three metals, like other substances, are present in negligible quantity in household detergents as impurities of the raw materials.
