USE OF SCINTILLATOR-PHOTODIODE DETECTOR IN COUNTING MODE IN DOSIMETRY

A dosimeter for low-power ionizing radiation is described. The detector is a scintillator-photodiode system operating in the counting mode. An amplifier-channel circuit and test results for dosimeter operation in the counting mode with a {sup 137}Cs source and with a preamplifier for alpha-particle spectroscopy are given. 10 refs., 5 figs., 1 tab.
