Modeling and Electrical Characteristics Simulation of Photovoltaic Module Based on PSIM

DC from photovoltaic(PV) module is converted into AC to supply load through inverter.According to the math model based on physics theory of PV cell,the simulation model of PV module was constructed with the PSIM software.I-V and P-V characteristics of actual PV module under different sunlight intensities and ambient temperatures were simulated by PSIM.By analyzing the effects of series and parallel resistances on the output characteristics of PV module,more in-depth understanding of the electrical characteristics of PV module wase realized.The constructed model provides an accurate simulation power for the dynamic simulation of PV inverter.
