Chylous ascites. Diagnostic problems apropos of a case

: A case of chylous ascites in a patient affected with ovarian adenocarcinoma is reported. After a survey of the diagnostic and aetiopathogenetic problems of chylous ascites and as in particular of those concerning the case reported the surgical operation and the macro and microscopic data encountered are described. The therapy of chylous ascites, consisting of a short-chain triglyceride diet is also mentioned.
