The experimental research of the gastric mucosal protective effects of Erye Niupixiao granules on chronic atrophic gastritis of rats

OBJECTIVE To discuss gastric mucosal protective effects of Erye Niupixiao(Cynanchum auriculatum Royle ex wight) granules on chronic atrophic gastritis of rats.METHODS With hot saline instillation method to produce rat experimental chronic atrophic gastritis model,after treatment with Erye Niupixiao granules,observing histological change of rat gastric mucous membrane of each group.RESULTS After the treatment of Erye Niupixiao granules atrophy,intestinal metaplasia and abnormal hyperplasia of rat gastric mucous membranes or the combination of the two pathological changes decreased clearly,the damage index of gastric mucous membranes decreased significantly.CONCLUSION Erye Niupixiao granules have some good therapeutic effect to some diseases associated with chronic atrophic gastritis.
