Development and Property Research of Titanium Zirconium Alloy by Vacuum Arc Remelting

Titanium Zirconium alloy ingot was smelted by vacuum arc remelting(VAR) furnace.Effect factors and the mechanical properties of the titanium zirconium alloy smelting in VAR have been investigated.The results demonstrated that the titanium zirconium alloy has higher hardness and nicer tensile strength than that of pure titanium.
