Separation of water soluble selenium(IV) and selenium(VI) in soil sample by ion-exchange column and determination by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence-spectrometry
2004
Water soluble inorganic selenium in soil samples was separated and concentrated with D296 anionic exchange resin. The experimental conditions for separation, concentration and elution of selenium(Ⅳ) and selenium(Ⅵ) were investigated. Selenium(Ⅳ) and selenium(Ⅵ) in soil samples were eluted through ion-exchange column with 0.1% and 10% HCl respectively, then were determined by HG-AFS. The detection limit of selenium(Ⅳ) and selenium(Ⅵ) were 0.22 μg/L and 0.13 μg/L, and relative standard deviaton were 4.3% and 1.4%( n =7), respectively.
