Study on the conjugate addition of indole with 1,5-diaryl-1,4-pentadien-3-ones catalyzed by AlCl3 under ultrasonication

The conjugate addition of indoles with 1,5-diaryl-1,4-pentadien-3-ones catalyzed by AlCl 3 affords the corresponding products in moderate yields under ultrasonication at room temperature within 60-170 min.
