The invention discloses a low-energy-consumption, high-flame-retardancy, low-smoke and halogen-free cable material which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50-100 parts of polyethylene, 50-100 parts of polyethylene graft copolymer, 20-60 parts of a compatilizer, 180-250 parts of an efficient flame retardant, 0.2-5 parts of an anti-oxidant, 5-40 parts of a high dispersant, and 1-10 parts of a silane coupling agent. According to the invention, the problems that the conventional flame-retardant cable material is low in extrusion efficiency and overhigh in energy consumption; besides, the cable material has the characteristics of being environment-friendly, low in smoke and nontoxic.
