Curing component for synthetic resin, curable mixture containing the same, and its use

1988
PURPOSE: To obtain a curable mixture for a coating material, etc., not causing precipitation in an electrodeposition coating bath, comprising a reaction product of a polyisocyanate, a CH-active alkyl ester, a polyoxyalkyleneamine and another NH-reactive compd., a binder, etc. CONSTITUTION: A polyisocyanate such as toluylene diisocyanate, a CH-active alkyl ester of formula I (where R 1 is a 1-8C alkyl; R 2 is H or R 1 ; and is a CO 2 R 1 , CN, CONH 2 , etc.), e.g. dibutylmalonater, a polyamine of formula II [where R 3 is H or a 1-6C alkyl and (n) is an integer of 1-50], etc., e.g. polyoxypropylenetriamine and if appropriate other NH- and/or OH-reactive compd. are reacted to prepare the objective curing component and this component is blended with a binder made of a polymer having hydroxyl groups and/or amine groups, etc., to obtain the objective curable mixture.
