Impact of Special Management of Free Anti-TB Drugs on Treatment of Tuberculosis

Objective To discuss the impact of special management of free anti-TB drugs on tuberculosis treatment. Methods Collecting the delaying information of patients fetching medicine before and after special management of anti-TB drugs.The reasons for delayed fetching medicine, the treatment completion rate and the overall normative treatment rate were compared between the two groups. Results Both 122 cases and 910 cases were analyzed before and after special management of free anti-TB drugs. The rates of delayed fetching medicine before and after special management were 20.05% and 4.35%, respectively. The treatment completion rate was 85.11% and 91.10%,respectively. The overall normative treatment rate was 79.95% and 88.02%, respectively. Conclusions Through special management of free anti-TB drugs, the rates of delayed fetching medicine,treatment conpletion and the overall ormative treatment increase obviously.
