PARÂMETROS DE CRESCIMENTO E PRODUÇÃO DO CAPIM TANZÂNIA ADUBADO COM NITROGÊNIO, SOB AS FORMAS DE NITRATO DE AMÔNIO, DE SULFATO DE AMÔNIO OU URÉIA*

The nitrogen (n) defficiency on pastures can cause great damages for the livestock, therfore it is very important the knowledge about the application of that nutrient by fertilization. To get a better utilization of the N apllied for the production of forage. The objective of this work was to evaluate some parameters of growth and production on a pasture of Tanzânia grass hith different sources of N. The heights of the dossel were 81,81 cm and 31,03 cm before and after grazing, respectively; the average of herbage mass were 7.024,19 kg of DM/ha and 1.996 kg of DM/ha before and after grazing, respectively, the average of herbage mass bulk density was 92,79 kg of DM/ha/cm; the expansion rate was 1,31 cm/day; the average of acumulated rate was 129,86 kg of DM/ha/day; the accumulated mass during grazing cycle was 5.779,79 kg of DM/ha; the accumulated mass during the experimental was of 23.119,17 kg of DM/ha. The accumulated mass and the accumulated rate there were not significant difference among the sources of N evaluated, but was signifatively different compared to the witness.
