Robust Sliding-Mode Filtering foraClass ofUncertain Nonlinear Time-Delay Systems

This paper isconcemed with theproblems ofrobust sliding modefilter designs foraclass ofnonlinear systems with parameter uncertainties andtime-vary delays. The nonlinear- ities areassumed tosatisfy global Lipschitz conditions andparameter uncertainties reside inapolytope. Theresulting filter isoftheLuenberger typewith discontinuous form, itguarantees therobust asymptotic stability ofthefiltering error dynamics foralladmissible uncertainties. A sufficient condition withdelay-dependent isgiven fortheexistence ofsuchafilter interms oflinear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Theresulting filter canbeeasily obtained fromtheoptimal solutions ofthis setofLMIs.
