Inthis paper, acascode lownoise amplifier (LNA) withshuntimpedance feedback topology forapplications in ultra-wideband (UWB)systems ispresented. Thedesign was basedon theTSMC 0.18pmmixedsignal/RF processes. Measurement andsimulation results areapproximate. Maximum powergainof10.01 dBwitha3-dBbandwidth ranging from2 GHzto10GHz,input reflection coefficient less than-10dBas wellasoutput reflection coefficient less than-8dBwereachieved. Powerconsumption is22mW.Inaddition, simulated noise figure isless than4dBatthefrequency bandranging from2GHz to 10GHz.
