Ramp control method for programmable power supply

The invention discloses a ramp control method for a programmable power supply. The ramp control method is used for controlling an output value of the programmable power supply to rise from an initial value to a set value. According to the method, fixed ramp time T and the gradient of a ramp are determined according to the set value. The ramp time is needed for reaching the current set value from the initial value by the output value of the programmable power supply, and the gradient of the ramp is (P-Sk)/(T-Tk). By the aid of the ramp control method, the gradient of the ramp is variable, the output value of the programmable power supply can reach the set value according to the fixed ramp time, impact is reduced, and safety of a load device is guaranteed.
