Müziğin non-stres test üzerine etkilerinin incelenmesi

OBJECTIVE : To investigate the maternal and fetal effects of non-stress test in musical environment METHOD AND MATERIALS : Our study was conducted prospectively between 50 pregnant women with the only live pregnancy between 34-37 weeks of age, who had no known maternal and fetal problems. Pregnant women were randomly divided into 2 groups of 25 people. In the first group, NST was performed in a musical environment and then NST was performed in the environment without music; the second group was first made NST without music and then NST with music. After each test, maternal blood pressure, respiratory rate, pulse, beck depression scale test, fetal basal heart rate, number of acceleration, number of baby movements were evaluated. RESULTS : There was a statistically significant difference in the number of baby movements and decreased number of pregnant women in NST performed in musical environment. Although there was a decrease in the pregnant anxiety-depression score, a decrease in the number of basal heart rate and increase the number of accelerations, it was not statistically significant. CONCLUSION : We think that Non-stress testing with relaxing music; reactive NST and reduce unnecessary repetitions and invasive procedure such as hydration.
