An International Comparison of Case Definition of Severe Adverse Cutaneous Reactions to Medicines

There is substantial intercountry variation in the proportion of cases of toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) and Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) which are attributed to specific drugs. This study was undertaken to determine whether these differences might reflect biases in diagnosis of these conditions.
