Integrated Flight/Propulsion Control Crucial Auto-modes Design and Performance Evaluation

The concept of integrated flight /propulsion control auto-modes design was to develop an autopilot/autothrottle control system which was able to accomplish automatic speed control. The employment of such system meant the implementation of real automatic flying and indeed reduced pilot’s workload. This paper presented integrated flight/ propulsion control auto-modes design of an advanced aircraft, including cruising mode, landing mode and height-holdspeed-control mode, as well as simulation and evaluation of this combined control system’s performance. And the results proved to be satisfied.
