Stability Analysis: Steady States

Previously, we have described basic bio-devices (transcription units) where a promoter, under the action of RNA polymerases, transcription factors, and chemicals led the expression of a reporter protein. For each circuit, we drew, first, a graphical representation. We listed, then, the species and the reactions to be considered in a model. Finally, we chose a kinetics, which permitted the translation of the bio-chemical reactions into ordinary differential equations. The dynamics of the circuit was obtained by solving, numerically, an ODE system.
