Xenon time projection chamber for ββ decay

The design of a time projection chamber (TPC) filled with Xe at high pressure is described. The aim of the project is to measure the neutrinoless ββ decay of 136Xe at the level of 1023 years. Guidelines for the choices made in the project and experimental results of prototypes are presented.
