X-ray diffraction investigation of the structure of polyethylene and ethylene-propylene copolymer melts

Abstract The present paper presents principal results of an X-ray diffraction investigation of amorphous polymeric systems, namely, low and high density PE melts and melts of random ethylene-propylene copolymers; these results show that various forms of ordering exist in materials of this type.
