Cross Section Measurements of Proton and Deuteron Induced Formation of 103Ag in Natural Palladium

Proton and deuteron induced nuclear reactions for generation of the 1 0 3 Pd parent 1 0 3 Ag were investigated using the stacked-foil activation technique on natural palladium targets up to E P = 37.3 MeV and E d = 20.5 MeV, respectively. Excitation functions are reported for the first time for the reactions n a t Pd(p,xn) 1 0 3 Ag and n a t Pd(d,xn) 1 0 3 Ag.
