The invention discloses a method for machining a high position precision hole group by a tool. The method includes the steps: manufacturing a boring die tool according to the distribution shape of the hole group in a part to be machined; arranging a plurality of jacking blocks for calibrating the mounting position of the boring die tool on the part to be machined on the boring die tool; portraying central cross lines for calibrating the mounting position of the boring die tool on the part to be machined on the boring die tool; forming a control hole group in the boring die tool; mounting the boring die tool at a position needing the hole group in the part to be machined to form inner circles of control holes of the control hole group, and machining holes in the part to be machined by the aid of control holes of a power boring tool after mounting and adjusting the power boring tool by taking hole end faces as references. The contour dimension of the boring die tool can cover the hole group of the part to be machined, and the distribution condition of the control hole group is as same as that of the hole group of the part to be machined. The boring die tool serves as a reference, a simple device is used for machining the hole group in the large part, and precision requirements of products are met.
