Fracture surfaces after material failure are left with a variety of information relating to fracture mechanisms. The observation of fracture surfaces is very important to determine the cause of material failure. This method is called fractography as a means to determine fracture mechanisms. In fractography, a lot of information regarding the features of fracture surfaces is necessary to analyze them. The extraction of the features of fracture surfaces is mostly done by using human eyes and is time consuming when observing large fracture surfaces or multiple specimens. Therefore, it is necessary to automate the fracture surface analysis to extract features from a given fracture surface.
