The present invention relates to: a catalyst system for olefin oligomerization; and a method for oligomerizing olefins and, more specifically, to: a catalyst system for olefin oligomerization, enabling more effective preparation of α-olefins since support efficiency is further improved by a ligand compound capable of serving as a tether on the support, thereby exhibiting high activity in olefin oligomerization only with a smaller amount of a catalyst composition and a cocatalyst; and a method for oligomerizing olefins.
