The invention discloses a multi-platform integrated vehicle-mounted recreation communication system based on a virtual machine. The communication system comprises a hardware layer, a GenIVI operating system, a kernel virtual machine and an application operating system, wherein the GenIVI operating system is loaded on the hardware layer; the kernel virtual machine is loaded on the GenIVI operatingsystem and is provided with an open source cross-platform simulator; and the open source cross-platform simulator is loaded with the application operating system. Compared with the prior art, the communication system has the advantages: a plurality of application operating systems can coexist and can be mutually isolated so that the safety is enhanced, the production cost of a single hardware platform is reduced, and the like.
