Solitons Transmission Equation of Dispersion Management and Nonlinearity Management

Starting from the nonlinear Schrdinger (NLS) equation,the solitons transmission equation of dispersion management and nonlinearity management is given. The evolution properties of the solitons are studied by making use of symmetrical slit-step Fourier numerical method. It is shown that the interaction of the optical solitons increases with the increasing transmission distance when the solitons transmitting in the fiber are only controlled by dispersion management. When the solitons are transmitting both with the dispersion management and nonlinearity management, the interaction between adjacent solitons is greatly restrained and it has little change with the increasing transmission distance.
