The invention relates to an organic sulfur conversion catalyst in high-pressure high-water/gas sulfur-containing raw material gas. The catalyst comprises active component alkali metals, anti-hydration auxiliaries and carrier materials, wherein the active component alkali metals, on an M2O basis, account for 0.5-20% the total quantity of the catalyst and M represents an alkali metal; the anti-hydration auxiliaries are composed of one or a mixture of two or three of ZrO2, TiO2, MgO, ZnO and CeO; and the carrier materials are one or a mixture of two or three of TiO2, Al2O3, MgO, ZrO2 and CaO. By using the catalyst, the conversion rate of COS out of a reactor is at least over 85% and even reaches over 95%.
