Study on the Test Method of Initiation Energy Matching for High Voltage Pulse Power Source and Slapper

Aimed at the problem of initiation energy matching for high voltage pulse power source with cable and slapper,the test method of initiation energy matching was put forward.For the cable connected to the output of high voltage pulse power source condition,the data of the short circuit discharge were obtained by the test device,meanwhile,the theoretic analysis and verification test of slapper initiation were carried out.The results indicated that when the cable of 100mm was connected to the output of high voltage pulse power source,the initiation voltage of slapper was risen 300V,the corresponding output energy equals to that without cable.The test method not only protect the initiation device and retrench the test cost,but also ensure the reliability of slapper initiation.
