Phytochemical screening, analgesic and antioxidant activity of methanol extract of Abelmoschus esculentus

The purpose of this study was to investigate the presence of major phytochemicals and the analgesic and antioxidant effects of methanol extract of the seeds of a plant Abelmoschus esculentus. Phytochemical analysis of the extract of Abelmoschus esculentus seeds indicated the presence of Alkaloid, Flavonoids and Tannin types of compounds.
