Analysis of Restenosis after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease

2012
Objective: To explore causes of restenosis after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) and provide evidence for prevention of restenosis. Methods: Retrospective analyses were performed on clinical and coronary angiographic data of 200 CHD patients followed up with coronary angiography undergoing PCI in our hospital.According to condition of restenosis, the patients were divided into restenosis group(n=100) and nonrestenosis group(n=100).Analyses were performed on relationship amongage, gender, risk factor s of CHD,minimal luminal diameter(MLD),length of coronary stent after PCI and restenosis. Results: Compared with nonrestenosis group, the male, smoking, stent diameter 3.5 mm,stent length40 mm,diabetes, hypertension in restenosis group significantly increased. Conclusion: Male, smoking, stent diameter 3.5 mm,stent length40 mm,diabetes, hypertension are related with coronary restenosis after PCI.
