Chapter 7 – Proposed EEG/Speech-Based Emotion Recognition System: A Case Study

This chapter provides a case study for multimodal emotion recognition. It also explains the Emotional Intelligence Inventory used for the selection of the volunteers. It explores the database creation, Correlation, and experimentation done with electroencephalogram images and speech signals for recognition using linear discriminate analysis for two basic emotions, happiness and sadness.
