Aero Engine Global Variable Structure Model Following Control Sys tem

2003
Global Variable Structure Model Following Control(GVSMFC) Theory, a new variable structure control approach, is introduced to aero engine control systems. This approach can efficiently shorten the time during which system initial states rea ch the sliding model, overcome the sensitivity of Constant Variable Structure Co ntrol(CVSC) to uncertainties during this period, and thus enhance the robustness of the system. Furthermore, The design of its control principle also improves t ransient performance of the system. Based on this theory, an aero engine GVSMFC system is designed and studied. The reference model designed via the state feedb ack method meets the performance targets and theory matching requirements in ad dition to complete uncoupling. It is shown that the control system has good foll owing performance, and possesses strong ability of anti disturbance and anti variation of model parameters.
